Nautilus Watersports – Training Pool

One of the top diving specialists in the South Pacific, the Nautilus Scuba department of Nautilus Watersports will be sure to make your diving in Vanuatu unforgettable! With high equipment standards, knowledgeable, experienced dive instructors and repeat clients, you can rest assured that you are in good hands.

The shop offers courses from Open Water right through to Instructor and everything in-between e.g. Peak Buoyancy Specialty. Located in the heart of Port Vila, it has ease of access to the water and surrounding resorts and are happy to pick you up and drop you back to your resort free of charge!

DIVING

Port Vila is a great place to refresh your skills before travelling to Santo to dive the SS President Coolidge or further your training beyond your open water. All dive sites are within a close distance to the shop and two dive boats operate each day to ensure all guests have maximum dive guide attention and uncrowded dive sites.

Nautilus Watersports – Friendly Dugong

The diving in Port Vila is on many scuba divers buck-list with a multitude of coral reef dive sites and a range of accessible wrecks. There are sites suitable from beginners to advanced divers and generally speaking, the visibility is around 30 metres. A small sample below:

Pango Wall – Drift Dive

With visibility ranging from 30-40 metres at this incredible site, expect one of the most varied landscapes you’ve seen. Inclining into the deep ocean, Pango Wall offers sightings of brightly coloured anemones, soft and hard corals and outstretched gorgonian fans. Amongst these, teem reef fish, hawksbill turtles and schooling pelagics including yellow fin, wahoo and barracuda. Search closer and you will find some very photogenic macro life including a variety of nudibranchs and leaf scorpionfish.

Star of Russia

Nautilus Watersports – WWII Fighter Bomb Wreck

The Star of Russia is the only intact sailing ship of its kind. Built in the 1800’s and 90 metres long, she sits upright in 34 metres of water. Teeming with schools of tropical fish, corals, crustaceans and incredible macro life, she provides a very interesting dive!
