Sandy Beach Resort is located on the island of Foa, a part of the Ha’apai islands group which is made up of 60 islands, only 20 of which are inhabited. The resort is a tropical beachfront paradise. It prides itself on being environmentally friendly and utilising predominantly local produce. Stay in one of 12 fale with views of the crystal clear Pacific Ocean and get your little slice of Tonga. You will be greeted with a traditional welcome song and dance. Experience Tonga and the Sandy Beach Resort from a different perspective and ride horse back through the dense bush and the local villages of Ha’apai. The restaurant has cultural entertainment activities at night but these are very low-key, so you can enjoy the culture without the glitter. The resort can arrange cycling, bushwalking, kayaking, horseriding and fishing.

DIVING
There are a number of reefs right out the front of Sandy Beach Resort that are fantastic for snorkelling and diving. Diving is organised externally through one of the local operators. They offer tours, courses and whale watching. Transport is organised by the resort.
