Dive Gizo
Dive Gizo is the only PADI dive facility in Gizo. They offer diving for all experienced levels, from those just wanting to learn to technical divers. There are numerous WWII wrecks as well as some incredible reef beds, walls and drop-offs that will make the experience an unforgettable one. The shop offer guests the ability to complete the full range of PADI dive courses whilst in the Solomons! Imagine completing some of your first ever dives in crystal clear, 30 degree water! Through operating diving from small boats, the crew have the ability to tailor the diving day to suit both your needs and your preferences. The staff at Dive Gizo know each site like the back of their hand and will be sure to point out any creatures that you may be seeking!

Dive Gizo – Yellow Sponge
For any non divers, or if you are simply seeking to do something extra, dive gizo also offers a number of other tours and activities including WWII tours, bird watching, snorkelling, surf drops and village tours. The company even has the option of child care so that everyone can participate!
The dive shop also participates in a number of conservation activities to ensure the protection of the reef on which they dive. They look at the condition of the coral and reef, the status and number of the fish and attempt to expand support from the government. They work closely with the WWF and a number of other organisations that are working together to help the reef grow and stay beautiful for future generations.

Dive Gizo – Toa Maru Bomb Hole
The diving around Gizo is world-class, with people constantly travelling from all over the world to experience this magical underwater world. See coral encrusted walls, plummeting drop-offs, WWII wrecks, beautiful coral gardens and a myriad of marine life including tropical fish, macro critters and manta rays! There are 16 main dive sites, each a vastly different dive. See a small sample below:
Toa Maru
Hop of a boat and motor a scenic 20 minutes from the shore and you will find yourself above the incredible Toa Maru. It is an intact Japanese transport ship that is 140m in length and sitting in a depth of 37 metres. Start the dive at 7 meters and follow the ship down, spotting a number of trinkets and artefacts as you explore! Larger objects include bombs, a motorbike and a type 21 tank. It is possible for the more experienced divers to have a look at the inside of the wreck where you are likely to find the work shop, crew quarters and diving area. The marine life surrounding the wreck is incredible, find creatures such as manta rays, turtles and an incredulous amount of reef fish that have made this artificial reef their home.
