Kokopo Beach Bungalows – Rabaul
Kokopo Beach Bungalows a relatively new addition to Rabaul, having only been built a few years ago. It is the perfect location for the diver, traveller, passerby and even business person! They have a tour desk that can arrange you a myriad of activities for your stay in Rabaul including volcano hiking, snorkelling, fishing, day tours and more as well as a swimming pool if you want to simply sit back and relax. There are three rooming options to suit various budgets, each with ensuites and a private balcony. The resort also takes advantage of the incredible cultural activities around the area, encouraging their guests to attend some fantastic performances and events such as fire dancing and the traditional Mask Festival.

DIVING

Kokopo Beach Bungalows – Dolphin
The bungalows currently use an external dive operator however in the coming months will be building and opening their very own dive centre! The diving is Simpson Harbour boasts a myriad of WW2 wrecks, lively coral reefs and great underwater life. There are also a number of dive sites only a short boat ride away including the Beehives (a group of small islands), Pidgeon Island, Mioko (duck of York) island and more.
