Booked through an external dive operator whilst staying at Malagan, you will find most sites only a 5minute boat ride from the hotel. One such, more popular dive site is the Albatross Passage. This is a narrow passage that, with an incoming tide exhibits a fanatic quantity of marine life. See schooling dogtooth tuna and barracuda grey reef sharks, mobula and eagle rays, and a myriad of brightly coloured reef fish bustle their way around. Look more closely a your will find macro life galore, with nudi branchs, leaf scorpion fish, the rare pygmy seahorse and more all of which, existing among overgrown hard and soft corals, fans and sponges.
