Yap Diver’s is a PADI Golden Palm Resort, just across from Manta Ray Bay Resort. The team at Yap Diver’s pride themselves on the safety and enjoyment of each and every dive and offer dives on all of Yap’s best dive sites. They have a range of instruction courses available from Open Water, right through to divemaster. All of the staff that work at Yap Divers are passionate about the ocean and diving. Yap Divers – Macro Critter
and of course the famous Giant Manta Dives!
The manta mating season is from December through to April every year and this is the best time to see manta’s however Yap is known for having these incredible creatures year round/ There is also a fantastic shark dive on which you will see a healthy amount of grey reef, blacktip and whitetip reef sharks. Some of the sharks that have made their home in Yap, but are less frequently seen include oceanic whitetip, oceanic silvertip, nurse, lemon, scalloped, hammerhead, silky, leopard, tiger and whale sharks.
After you have spent some time in-awe with the pelagic creatures, re-adjust your focus and check out some of Yap’s tiny critters including mandarin fish, pipefish, razorfish, shrimps & gobies. ‘Slow n Easy’ is Yap Diver’s most famous marco diving site. With over 30 regular dive sites and less than 100 rooms on the entire island of Yap, you can be assured that your dives will be uncrowded, personalised and unforgettable!
