Manta Ray Bay Hotel – Yapese dance
ABOUT MANTA RAY BAY RESORT
Purpose-built for divers, the Manta Ray Bay Resort is a one stop shop for your diving holiday. There are 35 ocean-themed rooms, all with air-conditioning and private bathrooms, and some even have their own plunge pool. Every morning you will be woken with a coffee, and your diving day will begin. Different packages are available to combine your diving and accommodation, from the basic, to those including Nitrox, meals and more!
Everything is located with convenience in mind. One of the resort’s most distinctive features is the Mnuw, an Indonesian schooner moored in front. Inside and on deck is three levels of restaurant, as well as the Crows Nest bar on top. The resort owner brews his own beer on site, the Stone Money Brewery, and it is very good! Enjoy a cold one while you watch a movie outdoors on a warm Yap evening.
Yap Divers is located onsite, and provides an excellent diving operation. They will go out of their way to ensure that you are having a good time, and will do their best to fulfil any special requests. Most of the manta rays are known by name and displayed on a photo board outside the dive centre.
