The Truk Stop Hotel was built specifically for divers on the waterfront in Truk Lagoon. Only a five minute walk from town, guests are able to spend their days either relaxing or taking advantage of the world-class wreck dives at their doorstep. There are 23 rooms on offer, each with air-conditioning and comfortable amenities. Along with these, the resort has an on-site PADI dive centre, restaurant, bar and conference centre.

ABOUT TRUK LAGOON DIVE CENTRE
Added in 2001, the Truk Stop Hotel added their dive centre a short 30 second walk from the hotel! The operation offers 4 boats at a time that are able to pick divers up from their private pier. The shop is staffed by professional instructors that know the dive sites surrounding Truk like the back of their hand! There is a fantastic wash and dry area for diver’s gear, along with all of the facilities that are needed to make a great diving holiday.

Truk Stop Hotel – Wreck Diving
When visiting Truk Lagoon, divers have the option to choose between wreck dives, reef dives, night dives and shark feeding dives! The reef dives are completed on the edge of Truk Lagoon’s barrier reef, there are a number of passes and vertical walls that offer great visibility and a myriad of marine life including sharks, manta rays, sea turtles and schools of fish. It is also near these locations that the shark feeds are completed. As for the wreck diving, Truk Lagoons wrecks are world-renowned as some of the best in the world. Some of the more popular wrecks include the Fujikawa Maru: A 437 ft. long Japanese freighter, The Nippo Maru a 353 ft. long freighter, The Shinkoko Maru: a 500ft. long tanker and the Heian Maru: a 530 ft. long ship!
