ABOUT DIVE KADAVU

Dive Kadavu

Dive Kadavu is a PADI dive operation based in Kadavu and operated by Matava Resort. The operator offers a full range of PADI courses and caters for all experience levels. There are over 40 nearby dive sites on offer with a myriad of diverse underwater landscapes and marine life. The dive shop has a strong focus upon sustainable operations and their environmental impact which is consistently improving the dive sites surrounding them! There are night dives are also available upon request.

DIVING

The diving surrounding Kadavu is some of the best in Fiji. Expect to see a myriad of brightly coloured tropical fish, mantas, turtles schooling jacks and tuna, sharks, groupers, sea snakes, nudibranchs and more, depending on the site you are visiting. The waters offer fantastic photography opportunities with crystal clear water and curious creatures! See below for a few dive site samples:

Dive Kadavu

Motu Marine Protected Area

This dive site is one of Dive Kadavu’s favourites. Only 20-30 minutes by boat from the resort, divers can expect to see some fantastic brightly coloured hard and soft corals and coral whips. The tropical fish numbers are outstanding, and put of a fantastic show for the underwater photographer!

Crazy Maze

Crazy Maze is a fantastic dive that will take you through a multitude of swim-throughs and gaps amongst pinnacles and walls. Around each corner you will find new marine life, corals and landscapes. The highlight of the dive is known to be the spectacular view of the sun shining through the gaps above you.
