ABOUT TUSA DIVE
T6 Tusa Dive Boat
Tusa Dive is a locally owned Cairns based dive shop in Queensland that specialise in everything Great Barrier Reef! The shop has been in operation for over 25 years meaning you can be assured of a fun, educational, memorable and exciting day! They offer snorkelling tours, dive courses, diving tours and more with a focus of 16 particular sites along the coast.
There will be 12 crew on board on diving days each of which exude a professional and friendly attitude. Every staff member has completed their advanced reef teach certification and are all enthusiastic to share their knowledge and love for the reef and its inhabitants with you! The shop itself stocks a great range of dive equipment available for purchase including brands such as Mares, Oceanic, Aqualung, ScubaPro, Sony and more.
Tusa Dive are an ecotourism operator, dedicated to ensuring protection of the environment in which they operate! They do a lot of work to ensure the conservation of the reef as well as sustainable tourism. Click here to find out more.

DIVING
The diving is all completed on the Great Barrier Reef, the largest coral reef system in the world extended a massive 2,000 kms along the Australian coast. Guests travel from all over the world to visit this incredible natural wonder of the world! There are 16 sites the the T6 visits including:

The Drop Off
The drop off is a fantastic wall dive that drops down to 30 meters and is covered in brightly coloured corals and sea life. With a slight current, the site attracts a number of pelagics including sharks and schools of fusiliers. The visibility is generally around 20 metres.
The Fish Bowl
The fish bowl is a circular wall of coral wall in the shape of a bowl as the name suggests that encompasses and incredible range of fish life. The average depth on the dive is around 12 metres making it fantastic for those divers who are just beginners. Living amongst some incredible colourful corals expect to be surrounded by colourful damsels, anemones, clownfish, yellow tailed fusiliers, spangled emperor fish and even a resident maori wrasse. Dolphins and manta rays are also regular visitors to the site.
