Deep Sea Divers Den – Shop Front
The Deep Sea Divers Den has been in operation in excess of 40 years and is the largest dive operator in Cairns! They cater for divers from beginner to advanced and complete all their diving and snorkelling on the world famous Great Barrier Reef. They have both day trip and liveaboard options for divers and a multitude of options for non divers as well.
The company were also awarded with Project AWARE’s Go ECO Operator status in 2006. This means that the company do everything they can in an attempt to minimise their environmental impact of the reef and preserve as well as aid the growth and flourishing of the reef for future generations! DIVING
The waters off Cairns have fantastic year-round conditions including warms temperatures and great visibility. The Deep Sea Divers Den visit 17 dive sites along the Great Barrier Reef at Norman Reef, Saxon Reef and Hastings Reef. Sites are generally chosen in accordance with the predicted weather conditions and visibility Each dive site offers a diverse range of marine life, from macro life to pelagics and everything in-between. Expect to see creatures such as turtles, pelagic fish, rays, thousands of tropical fish, sharks and the very friendly maori wrasse (who loves to get a photo with the divers)!
