Tufi Dive Resort
Tufi Dive Resort is located along the edge of some of Papua New Guinea’s most breathtaking fjords, surrounding by lush rainforest and incredible diving! Find yourself sitting on a cliff top terrace with a cocktail in hand, viewing 180 degree panoramic views on the ocean, fjords and mountains in the resort restaurant.
The resort is a great place for those seeking some rest and relaxation after completing the Kokoda Trail, as it is only 2 hours away. There are a number of deluxe bungalows, each of which have verandahs overlooking either the Coral Sea or Tufi Fjords. The resort offers multiple activities for those seeking them, including fishing trekking, kayaking, outrigger safaris and bird watching. The resort also works with the local villages in the area offering a myriad of cultural activities including net making, spear works, tapa printing, and face and body tattoos.

DIVING
ABOUT TUFI DIVE
Tufi Dive – Dive Boat
The Tufi Dive operation allows guests to see the best diving in the waters surrounding Tufi in a fun, professional and educational manner! Most sites can be found within 20 – 30 minutes of the resort giving you the ability to make your days as relaxing or actioned packed as you would like!
DIVING
In the waters surrounding Tufi, divers can expect to witness a diverse range of underwater life. The schooling pelagics including tuna, hammerheads, Spanish mackerel and barracuda, white tip sharks and myriad of tropical fish make each dive a enthralling one. The visibility almost always 30 metres and over and water temperatures stay around 28 degrees throughout the year.
Tufi Dive – Mandarin Fish
There are a multitude of unexplored reefs due to the remoteness of the resort as well as historic WWII wrecks including a Dutch cargo ship and a B17 bomber. Furthermore, for the macro lovers there is excellent muck diving as a result of the calm waters in the area, the house reef/ jetty is only a 3 minute walk from the resort and encompasses great macro life. Turtles, manta rays and eagle rays are also often seen cruising by.
