DIVING

The diving in Tonga is unsurpassed. Expect to see a fantastic underwater landscape with plummeting drop-offs, thrilling caverns teeming with marine life and swim-throughs that will forever etch themselves into your memory! As well as this there are a number varieties of hard and soft corals, stunning sea fans swarming with reef fish, nudibranchs, crustaceans and pipefish just to name a few.

Dolphin Pacific Diving - Macro Life

Dolphin Pacific Diving – Macro Life

You can do shore or boat dives and enjoy sites that accommodate the novice and the experienced diver. The main attraction of course, is the magnificent humpback whales that can be watched calmly from the boat, breaching out of the ocean, or you can swim with them! Watch in awe as these magnificent creatures go about their daily business, impressing you with every slow, swift movement. Water temperatures range from 24 to 29 degrees throughout the year, so a 3-5mm wetsuit will be appropriate.
