Travel plans at a glance

Day 1

Depart Perth. Fly via Singapore to Manila on Singapore Airlines. Kingsford Hotel for the night.

Day 2

Fly Manila → Truk (via Guam) on United.
Arrive in Chuuk/Truk, transfer to Blue Lagoon Resort, check in to your Standard Room (twin share).

Day 3–9

Dive Truk Lagoon
14 dives total across the trip

You’ll see WWII wrecks from Operation Hailstone (Feb 1944), including cargo holds full of artillery shells, torpedoes, plane parts, tanks, bow and stern guns, and engine rooms frozen in time — now carpeted in soft coral, anemones, schooling fish, reef sharks, and eagle rays.

Day 10

Airport transfer back out of Chuuk and fly Truk → Manila (via Guam).

Day 11

Fly Manila → Perth (via Singapore). Arrive home.
