TERMS & CONDITIONS

DEPOSITS

  • The minimum non-refundable deposit listed on your booking form is payable per person and must be received by your booking agent before any booking is made.
  • Talk to us about how travel insurance can help protect your deposit.

ROOMING

  • All pricing is based on the room configuration stated in your quote (e.g. twin-share).
  • If we are unable to pair you in a twin-share, your booking will default to single occupancy, and a single-supplement fee will apply.

GROUP BOOKINGS – FLIGHTS & PACKAGE CHANGES

  • Once you have submitted your booking form and paid the deposit for a Group Trip, any request to alter or remove the flight components of your booking will be treated under our cancellation terms and may incur penalties/fees, unless we provide prior written approval confirming an exception.
  • Written approval must be obtained from our agent before any change is actioned.

OTHER & FINAL PAYMENTS

  • Unless otherwise advised, final payment is due 90 days prior to travel.
  • Full details are available from your booking agent or Allways Dive Expeditions. The onus rests with you to contact us or your tour leader for these details.
  • Liveaboard bookings require a mandatory part payment of AUD $1,000 per traveller, payable 12 months prior to departure, to meet our external supplier’s booking and payment conditions.
  • For both liveaboard and resort-based packages, we may occasionally need to request further part payments where required by operators. These payments are essential to secure your space, pricing, and inclusions and will be credited towards your final balance.
  • By signing this agreement and proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and agree to make these part payments when requested, in line with the supplier conditions.
  • If any required deposit, instalment, or final balance remains unpaid after the specified due date, Allways Dive Expeditions reserves the right to cancel your booking without further notice. In such cases, any funds already paid will be subject to the cancellation terms outlined below, including non-refundable deposits and cancellation fees.

INSURANCE (GENERAL)

  • Insurance quotes are provided as a complimentary service only.
  • Allways Dive Expeditions accepts no responsibility for errors, delays, loss of cover, or any resulting damages.
  • You are solely responsible for securing valid travel insurance and confirming the accuracy and suitability of any quote or policy.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS – GENERAL

  • All cancellations must be provided in writing by the traveller to: travel@allwaysdive.com.au

DEPOSITS (CANCELLATION)

  • All initial deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.
  • Application for refund or transfer of a deposit under special circumstances can be made directly to travel@allwaysdive.com.au.
  • Any refund or transfer of deposits is entirely at the discretion of ADE management and, if approved, is subject to deduction of administration fees.

ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS (NON-DEPOSIT FUNDS)

  • Any funds paid to Allways Dive Expeditions voluntarily (i.e. not requested or invoiced) prior to the final balance due date will be refunded less administration fees in the event of your cancellation.
  • Where we have requested instalment payments for your trip, we will endeavour to obtain the best possible refund from the paid suppliers on your behalf.
  • Any applicable refunds from operators (including your booking agent) are subject to any cancellation fees and costs that may arise, including where your cancellation alters the configuration or viability of a group departure.
  • No refunds are possible where notice of cancellation is given within 75 days of departure for any funds paid, whether by invoice or voluntarily.
  • The onus of obtaining details of individual operators’ refund conditions and being fully informed of these conditions rests with you, the traveller.

ERRORS & OMISSIONS

  • Allways Dive Expeditions and its booking agents have made every endeavour to ensure that brochure and advertised details and pricing are correct.
  • However, due to changes in airfare, taxes, and other charges, prices are subject to change prior to departure without notice.
  • All prices are quoted in AUD, and fluctuations in exchange rates can affect final costing.

FEES

  • We try not to apply fees unnecessarily, but sometimes it is required. We reserve the right to apply any applicable fees.
  • General amendments: AUD $50.00 per amendment.
  • Late payment fee: Final payments not received by the due date will incur a fee of AUD $50.00 per person.
  • Late bookings: A late booking fee of AUD $75.00 applies to bookings made less than 7 days prior to departure.
  • Wholesalers and operators may also levy additional amendment fees, which will be charged to you. Please contact us for details.

YOUR DETAILS (NAMES & TICKETING)

  • Please ensure that all names provided to us are exactly as shown in the traveller’s passport.
  • Name changes for airline ticketing may require an amendment or the issue of a new ticket. Airline-levied fees for these services are generally high and will not be absorbed by Allways Dive Expeditions or its agents.
  • These fees are payable by the passenger to whom the charge relates.
  • You, the passenger, are responsible for ensuring all name details are correct, whether completed by you or by a third party at your request.

VISAS

  • Certain visa conditions may apply if you have been convicted of a criminal offence.
  • Please contact our office for advice if this may apply to you.

HEALTH

  • We strongly recommend you consult your doctor or a specialised travel health provider (such as Travelvax) regarding medical and immunisation advice relevant to your destination and diving activities.

DISCLAIMER

  • All services described in this document are sold by Allways Dive Expeditions as a disclosed agent for the person or company providing those services.
  • To the full extent permitted by law, you release and discharge Allways Dive Expeditions from any liability for monetary loss, damage or otherwise, suffered by you or any other person named on this document, including but not limited to:
    • Loss of prepaid diving or other activities
    • Theft of luggage or personal belongings
    • Illness, injury, or death
    • Any charges made by any of the service providers
    • Delays, omissions, accidents, or negligence caused by any party
    • Any other loss, monetary or otherwise, or damage whatsoever, including those arising from war and other Force Majeure events.

TRAVEL INSURANCE – STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

  • Travel insurance is not compulsory but is strongly recommended and considered essential.
  • Insurance generally covers you from the time of policy issuance and can protect both yourself and the monies paid towards your trip.
  • If you purchase your insurance through us, we are here to help with general claim assistance.
  • If you choose independent cover or credit card insurance, Allways Dive Expeditions reserves the right to charge an administration fee for assistance with insurance claims beyond general claim letters.

GROUP SIZE – MINIMUM NUMBERS

  • All group bookings require a minimum of 10 paying adults.
  • If the group does not reach this minimum, price increases may occur, or the trip may need to be re-costed or amended.

PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS

  • Your passport must have a minimum of 6 months validity beyond your intended return date.
  • Your passport must also contain a minimum of 2 unstamped pages available for visas and entry/exit stamps.
