Dive Thailand Master

General Information

This itinerary involves some long-distance travel, some of which is overnight; weather and sea conditions can affect the boat's ability to reach or remain at a specific area and may impact the number of dives possible and the dive sites that are visited.

The day-to-day itinerary and diving schedule depend on the itinerary route, as outlined in the following sections.

Typically, each full diving day is scheduled as follows:
- Light Breakfast followed by a briefing and dive 1
- Full Breakfast and relaxation followed by a briefing and dive 2
- Lunch and relaxation period followed by a briefing and dive 3
- Snacks and relaxation followed by a briefing and dive 4 (where possible)
- Dinner

North - South Route (Thap Lamu - Chalong)

- Day 1: Embarkation at Thap Lamu Pier is followed by introductions, safety briefings, dinner, and overnight cruising to the Surin Islands.
- Days 2-3: Surin Islands & Richelieu Rock - Up to 4 dives per day
- Day 4: Koh Tachai & Koh Bon - Up to 4 dives
- Day 5: Similan Islands - 4 dives
- Day 6: Similan Islands - 3 dives, then transition south to Koh Haa
- Day 7: Koh Haa, Hin Daeng & Hin Muang - 4 dives overnight cruising to Phi Phi
- Day 8: Phi Phi Islands - 3 dives before cruising to Chalong Bay where Thailand Master will remain at anchor overnight.
- Day 9: Breakfast on board, followed by disembarkation at Chalong Pier between 09:30 and 10:00 and transfer to Phuket Airport, or your hotel.

*Guests departing on flights from Phuket on the day of disembarkation should ensure they leave 24 hours between their final dive and flight departure time.

South - North Route (Chalong - Thap Lamu)

- Day 1: Embarkation in Chalong is followed by introductions, safety briefings, dinner, and overnight cruising to Koh Haa.
- Day 2: Koh Haa, Hin Daeng & Hin Muang - 4 dives and overnight cruising to Phi Phi
- Day 3: Phi Phi Islands - 3 dives, then transition to the Similan Islands
- Day 4: Similan Islands - 4 dives
- Day 5: Similan Islands - 4 dives
- Day 6: Koh Tachai & Koh Bon - 4 dives
- Day 7: Surin Islands & Richelieu Rock - 4 dives
- Day 8: Surin & Richelieu Rock - 3 dives* before cruising to Thap Lamu Harbour where Thailand Master will remain at anchor overnight.
- Day 9: Breakfast on board followed by disembarkation at Thap Lamu Pier between 09:30 and 10:00 and transfer to Phuket Airport, or your hotel.

*Guests departing on flights from Phuket on the day of disembarkation should ensure they leave 24 hours between their final dive and flight departure time.

Day 1 - Embarkation

Embarkation at 19:00 is followed by orientation and safety briefings and dinner as the liveaboard commences the cruise to the following morning's first dive location.

Days 2 - 5

Up to 4 dives, scheduled as follows:

- Light Breakfast followed by a briefing and dive 1
- Full Breakfast and relaxation period
- Briefing and dive 2
- Lunch and relaxation period
- Briefing and dive 3
- Snacks and relaxation period
- Where possible, briefing and dive 4
- Dinner

Day 6

For the final day's diving, we schedule two morning dives, and one early afternoon dive*.

After the last dive, guests can sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery as Thailand Master cruises to the disembarkation harbour, where she will remain at anchor overnight.

*We kindly request that guests departing on flights from Phuket on the day of disembarkation ensure they leave 24 hours between their final dive and flight departure time.

Day 7 - Disembarkation

Breakfast on board followed by disembarkation at 10:00 and transfer to Phuket Airport, or your hotel.

Day 1 - Embarkation

Embarkation is in Ranong at 11:00 a.m., followed by lunch and orientation briefings.

PLEASE NOTE: Transfer from Phuket to Ranong takes approximately 5 hours, and picks up from two locations only between 05:00 and 05:30 a.m.

Before boarding, guests are taken to the Immigration Office in Ranong for Thailand exit formalities. From the embarkation point in Ranong, Thailand Master will make the short crossing to Kawthaung in Myanmar for immigration entry formalities before cruising into the Mergui Archipelago.

Days 2-6

Up to 4 dives, scheduled as follows:
- Light Breakfast followed by a briefing and dive 1
- Full Breakfast and relaxation period
- Briefing and dive 2
- Lunch and relaxation period
- Briefing and dive 3
- Snacks and relaxation period
- Where possible, briefing and dive 4
- Dinner

Day 7

Maximum 2 dives:

- Light Breakfast followed by a briefing and dive 1
- Full Breakfast and relaxation period
- Briefing and dive 2
- Lunch and relaxation period
- Afternoon beach visit
- Dinner onboard
- Cruise to Kawthaung where Thailand Master will remain at anchor overnight.

Day 8 - Disembarkation

- Early breakfast on board and Myanmar exit formalities.
- Disembarkation in Ranong between 08:30 and 9:00
- Visit to the Thailand Immigration Office for passport re-entry stamps
- Onward transfer to your hotel or the airport.
