Dive Maldives Master

Day 1 - Embarkation

PLEASE NOTE: Pick-up and and transfer for embarkation is from Male Airport at 12:30 only.

Our crew will be waiting to meet guests at the airport for transfer to Maldives Master on our dhoni.

Embarkation is followed by introductions, boat and safety briefings and dinner. Based on all guests embarking at the designated time, there will usually be an early afternoon check dive close to Hulhumale.

Maldives Master will usually depart from the harbour in the evening and cruise north in preparation for the following day's first dive.

Days 2 - 6

Up to 3 dives a day, typically scheduled as follows:

- Light Breakfast followed by a briefing & Dive 1
- Full Breakfast, relaxation period, briefing & Dive 2
- Lunch, relaxation period, briefing & Dive 3*
- Snack, relaxation period
- Dinner
* if we offer a sunset or night dive, the schedule will be slightly amended

PLEASE NOTE: Some of the dives on this itinerary may be challenging or unsuitable for inexperienced divers due to depths and strong currents.

Our crew reserve the right to deny participation in some or all dives if they deem any person unfit or not experienced enough to cope with the diving conditions.

Day 7

Two morning dives only, dependent on guests' flight departure times.

- Wake-up call and light breakfast
- Briefing and Dive 1
- Full breakfast
- Briefing and Dive 2
- Lunch

In the afternoon, sit back and relax while Maldives Master cruises to the port where she will remain at anchor overnight.

Day 8 - Disembarkation

Early breakfast on board is followed by disembarkation at 07:30 and transfer by dhoni to the airport, which takes approximately 30 minutes.

Embarkation time is dependent on domestic flight schedules.

Our crew will be waiting to meet guests at the domestic airport (Kooddoo or Gan, depending on itinerary route) for transfer to Maldives Master on our dhoni.

Embarkation is followed by introductions, boat and safety briefings and dinner. There is no diving on embarkation day.

Days 2 - 6

We will typically offer 3 dives a day, scheduled as follows, unless travelling distances or other circumstances dictate otherwise:

- Light Breakfast followed by a briefing & Dive 1
- Full Breakfast, relaxation period, briefing & Dive 2
- Lunch, relaxation period, briefing & Dive 3*
- Snack, relaxation period
- Dinner

*if we offer a sunset or night dive, the schedule will be slightly amended

PLEASE NOTE: Most of the dives are in and around channels and along the outside reefs of the atolls where strong currents are the norm. Therefore, the diving may be challenging or unsuitable for inexperienced divers or those uncomfortable with negative entries and fast drifts.

Day 7

Typically we will offer two morning dives for the final day's diving, although this is dependent on flight departure times to ensure a minimum of 24 hours between the final dive and flying.

- Briefing and Dive 1
- Full breakfast
- Briefing and Dive 2
- Lunch

In the afternoon, sit back and relax while Maldives Master cruises to the port where she will remain at anchor overnight.

Day 8 - Disembarkation

Early breakfast on board is followed by disembarkation at 07:30 and transfer by dhoni to the airport for your return flight to Malé.

General itinerary outline

The majority of the dives on this itinerary are in and around deep channels and along the outside reefs with strong, often unpredictable currents and up-swells. Therefore, the diving may be challenging or unsuitable for inexperienced divers or those uncomfortable with negative entries and fast drifts.

Our crew reserve the right to deny participation in some or all dives if they deem any person lacks the necessary experience, fitness or skills for the diving conditions.

Due to the long distances covered on this itinerary, there will be periods of overnight cruising between some locations, most notably between Laamu and Huvadhoo Atolls, and Huvadhoo and Fuvamulah Atolls.

We will typically offer 3 dives a day, scheduled as follows, unless travelling distances or other circumstances dictate otherwise:

- Light Breakfast followed by a briefing & Dive 1
- Full Breakfast, relaxation period, briefing & Dive 2
- Lunch, relaxation period, briefing & Dive 3*
- Snack, relaxation period
- Dinner
