TAWALI – PAPUA NEW GUINEA
We’ve just received a fantastic review from dive shop owner Russel Robinson who has recently returned from the beautiful Tawali in Papua New Guinea! Thanks for send this through Russel – glad you had a great time!
“Just thought I would touch base and let you know we had a great trip to PNG.
Tawali Resort is a fantastic location and can cater for divers of all levels.
My groups of 20 ranged from Padi Open Water Divers to Master Scuba Divers, the range of dive sites Alfred and his team use is just fantastic. Fish life is prolific and it really is a photographers delight, the Muck Dive at the end of the trip (Lawadi Reef) had a few a bit surprised when they entered the water but ended up being our longest dive. This also created lots of talk on the way back to the resort.
The girls cater for everyone on the dive boat with wonderful lunches on the water between dives and they also keep a stocked esky ready with cold drinks for the trip back at days end.
The dive guides challenged us with dives like “Little China” & “Tania’s Reef”s where the current is quite strong, but the boys set lines under the boat (which make this very easy for everyone) and have great dive briefings to make the dives safe and rewarding for everyone.
The resort itself offers great accommodation with comfortable rooms featuring polished floor boards, air conditioning 24/7, and modern bathrooms with good water pressure.
The meal packages at Tawali are one of the features, all meals are multi course, its help yourself so no need to go hungry, wonderful choice and quality and presented beautifully by the girls in the kitchen.
Overall a great stay, with wonderful accommodation and food.
Alfred and his team of Divers did a great job in the water and I would have no hesitation recommending Tawali Resort to any divers.. “
