The areas most famous wreck dive, the Mikhail Lermontov is located near the small town of Picton in New Zealand’s cooler waters. This shipwreck was a passenger cruise ship that sank mysteriously in 1986. She remains intact and lies in 12-36m of water, a great dive site for all experience levels. Surrounding the wreck you will encounter numerous fish species and animals including dolphins, whales and seals.
