Noumea is the capital on New Caledonia and will be your international port of arrival into New Caledonia. There are several bays along the coast of Noumea on which you will find magnificent beaches. The culture in Noumea is fantastic for visitors, with museums, galleries, theatres and incredible architecture. UNDER THE WATER

Just out of the centre on Noumea, explore one of the largest barrier reefs in the world. You can play with turtles in the lagoon, feed groupers, admire eels or dive the wreck of the Dieppoise, a French navy vessel sunk in 1988 which has become a haven for many marine species. Cross the Boulari channel, where grey sharks can be seen or manta rays at certain times of the year, and discover the outer reef that sinks sharply into the depth of the Pacific.
