General Information

Australian passport holders require a valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months beyond their intended stay. The Fijian Dollar (FJD) is the unit of currency. One Australian Dollar is worth approximately 1.6 FJD.

English is the official language. Fijian, Chinese and Hindustani are widely spoken.

Light casual clothing is recommended. Women should dress modestly in public places.

The Fijian Islands lie in the tropics and are warm and humid year round. The summer wet season is from December to March.
