Mad Fish is a 5 star PADI dive centre owned and operated by Matava Resort that offers fantastic diving off Kadavu. DIVING

Explore the Great Astrolabe Reef with the team at Mad Fish to experience some of Fiji’s most pristine, world-class diving! The Great Astrolabe Barrier Reef is the fourth largest barrier reef in the world and is only minutes away from Matava Resort. Expect a myriad of colours, abundant hard and soft corals and fantastic marine life at every site! See below for a small sample of the sites:

Manta Reef

This site gives guests an up-close and personal experience with the incredible oceanic manta rays that reside in the area. These curious creatures will put on a show for the divers each time, speeding past, or slowing right down to get a good look at you. They interact with one another or simply spend thing time doing loops and spins. Other than the mantas, there is fantastic coral life along with the occasional hammerhead shark!  This dive site is around 40 minutes from Matava Resort.

Big Point/ Small Corner

Mad Fish Dive Centre – Shark

For those who love the big guys, this is the site for you! Expect just about anything whilst diving the reefs further out from the island. Humpbacks, tiger sharks, whale sharks, schooling wahoo and more!
